John has a healthy reputation for delivering successful projects by applying technology to solve complex business objectives. His background includes software development, project management and global program management. He specializes in building and maintaining long-term relationships with his clients.
He has delivered solutions for organizations such as KPMG, Grant Thornton, Standard & Poor's, The U.S. Tennis Association, Videology, MediaSpace Solutions, Baxter Healthcare, Archi-Tech Systems, EngageMyHealth, General Motors, Deutsche Bank, Siemens, BMW and more. In his role as CEO at EPIC Software Development, he is responsible for the success of our client's projects, and for providing a nurturing, supportive environment for EPIC's employees.
Joe Chiovarou was named Senior Vice President Engineering Solutions in January 2015. In this role, Joe leads EPIC's worldwide Engineering Solutions and Business Development teams. Joe’s organization is responsible for EPIC’s growth, marketplace positioning and the development of technology solutions to support client acquisition.
Joe joins Epic with over 25 years of experience in the global technology, software, and outsourcing fields. Joe’s unique background includes expertise in software product development, as well as marketing and sales. Joe also brings extensive global experience, managing resources in Eastern European and Latin American. Joe has delivered in many roles throughout his career including technical, operational, managerial and market facing. He is an alumnus of AT&T, Gartner Group, UBS, and Team International.
Joe is a Certified Outsourcing Professionals, International Association of Outsourcing Professionals, holds a Bachelor of Science with majors in both Computer Science and Finance from Rider University, and holds a Master in Business Administration in Finance from Rider University.
A cross-functional team leader with over 23 years experience in product development, marketing, and e-commerce, John is responsible for delivering client solutions in collaboration with EPIC's onshore and offshore teams.
John has directed programs across industries such as enterprise software, data warehousing, finance, non-profits, advertising, and consumer products.
Before joining EPIC, John led Credo Reference's Platform and Product Management function, where he established an agile process for developing product features and reducing technical debt, while balancing the needs of sales, customer success, and technology teams.
John received his MBA from Babson College, Magna Cum Laude. He graduated from Skidmore College with a BA in Anthropology, Phi Beta Kappa.
Andrey Falkov has been directly involved in the growth and development of EPIC from the beginning. As General Manager of the European branch, he is responsible for the architectural decisions, employee recruitment, personnel management and best practices.
Andrey is passionate about software development, with over 20 years of technical expertise in IT. He brings hands-on experience in various programming languages, techniques, and platforms. This experience makes Andrey a highly skilled a software engineer, and architect and manager. His extensive management expertise and recruitment for diversified projects prepared him to build effective teams. Andrey leads by example, consistently hitting project targets to achieve high performance for our clients.
Andrey graduated one of the most prestigious universities of the Russian Federation - Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University (Department of Electronics and Cybernetics, with a specialty in automated systems of data processing and management).
Aella Shabuneuskaya is EPIC's Director of Product Management. In this role, Aella leads EPIC’s worldwide Product Management engagements.
Prior to joining EPIC, Aella was a Senior Business Analyst at Coherent Solutions. Her experience with product design, project management, Agile methodology and best practices enable her to effectively contribute across the entire product development cycle, from strategic conception and market validation, to product release and refinement.
Aella is fluent in several foreign languages, including English, German, Russian, Belarusian, Polish, Italian and studying Spanish and French. She studied History and Political Science at the Belarusian State University, the European Humanities University and the University of Göttingen.
Aella specializes in Project Management, client services and implementation, product development, strategy and risk management.
An enthusiastic HR professional for over 6 years in the digital and software development industry, Fernanda has plenty of experience in recruiting specialized technical roles with tight time-to-close deadlines.
Fernanda's forte is in directing performance management, compensation, benefits and employee relations. She is passionate about creating opportunities for employees, developing career plans and building employee engagement. Her background in psychology has been useful in resolving recruitment and retention challenges.
At EPIC, Fernanda serves as a strategic advisor for talent development. She has a knack for creating processes from scratch, provides support and coaching to team leaders and employees, and she has proven success at bringing the best talent in the market to a winning team.
